After several days of heavy rain the ditches next to the road were full of water and we decided to try some urban skiing. We found a suitable place and a fun obstacle to jump over. We had to do this at night and we did not have much time before the light was too poor for video. When it got dark we took some cool photos. Check it out!
Last weekend we visited Tampa Cable. Again, some new tricks where landed and our friend Igor tried the skis at a cable park for the first time. Several people at the cable park wanted to try our skis when they saw them. The weather was nice and we had a great time. Enjoy the video!
Ryan Jones took his second set on wakeskis behind a boat. Ryan is also coaching people, both on wakeboard and on the trampoline at his gym. He doesn’t only pick up wakeskiing fast, but he also understands how things should be done on the skis. Wakeskiing is such a new sport that we have to come up with our new tricks and understand how to do them. Our boat driver for the day, Cobe Mikacich has been a pro wakeboarder for 13 years. He won his first event in 1992 with a heelside and a toeside 360.
Oysteins Rail Challenge visited Åre this weekend. Our team rider Bjorn Jokerud was there hitting the rails on his new Stereo twin tip wakeskis. Bjorn was the only wakeskier to qualify to the finals, where he placed 5. He also won the award for the best trick of the weekend, with a new improvised invention off the a-frame. Check it out on the video!
